Open Positions

There are currently several openings for graduate students to work on projects related to the multiphase environmental chemistry at CityU.

Graduate student applicants should have (or are expected to have by the time of commencement) a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with research experience in chemistry, atmospheric sciences, environmental sciences/engineering, chemical engineering, earth sciences, or a related science or engineering field.

For all graduate student applicants, effective written and oral communication skills in English are necessary. Experience with aerosol and/or atmospheric chemistry research, analytical techniques related to atmospheric sampling (e.g., mass spectrometry, ion chromatography), and data analysis is highly desired. Experience and/or aptitude with scientific programming or modeling is preferred but not essential. An ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to achieve research project goals and meet strict deadlines is expected.
